INTOXIDATION est une collaboration entre Sarah Albu et Vergil Sharkya'. Leur musique évoque le relief accidenté de paysages post-apocalyptiques où rodent des créatures réanimées composées de rebuts électroniques, et où des sauterelles se nourrissent de montagnes de résidus numériques. Synthétiseurs, pédales d'effets et registres vocaux allant du raboteux à l'angélique, du bizarrement placide au saccadé, tissent une tapisserie poussiéreuse et fluorescente de bruits.

Vergil Sharkya' est un musicien, compositeur et explorateur sonore travaillant avec des synthétiseurs, des vocodeurs, des logiciels, des effets analogiques et électroniques, ainsi qu'avec une approche unique pour le traitement de son matériau sonore.

Sarah Albu est une vocaliste expérimentale s'intéressant à l'électronique, à la théâtralité, à la musique nouvelle et au chant traditionnel des Balkans, et dont la pratique s'inspire de ces influences. Ensemble, ils explorent les points de rencontre entre la machine et la matière organique, l'air et la vie sous-marine, la Terre et l'espace sidéral.

INTOXIDATION is a collaboration between Sarah Albu and Vergil Sharkya'. They evoke jagged post-apocalyptic landscapes where reanimated e-waste beasts roam, and wild locusts feed on mountains of digital detritus. Synths, effects pedals and vocals range from scraping to angelic, from eerily placid to hectic, weaving a dusty neon tapestry of noise.

Vergil Sharkya' is a musician, composer and sonic explorer working with synthesizers, vocoders, software, analogue and electronic effects, and a unique approach to treating his sonic materials.

Sarah Albu is an experimental vocalist with interest and practice in electronics, theatricality, new music and traditional Balkan singing. Together, they explore meeting points between machine and organic; air and underwater; earth and outer space.
